[11.07.2005] 22-year-old Tina Klein couldn’t wipe the smile off her face at the German Championships at the beginning of July after clocking 13.09 seconds to take the Silver medal in the 100m hurdles and put herself at the top of this year’s European Under 23 rankings. She is now a hot favourite for Gold at the European Athletics U23 Championships in Erfurt on 14-17 July.

[11.07.2005] ] "I`m looking forward to the Junior World Championships, even if the preparations were not optimal. It was after the Junior European Championships in Tampere my second big international competition. So I was very confident in the first round. But after 400 meters I lost the race", Stefan Eberhardt remembers last year. At the German Championships in Wattescheid, next weekend, he is able to win the title.

[24.06.2005] This young woman has willpower, ambition and a portion of talent. Christina Schwanitz a name for keeping in mind. She convinced at the DLV Juniors Meeting in Mannheim with a wideness of 18,79 meters in Shot Put. With this performance a third time she reached the qualification- norm for the World Championships in Helsinki. Although she constituted her claim to be in front at the European U23 Championships in Erfurt (14.- 17. July 2005).

[14.06.2005] Young, ambittious and strong nerves. Antje Möldner associates each of these attributes. The young lady from SC Potsdam is on the way to achieve the top of 1500 meters. After her sixth place at the European Indoor Championship in Madrid and her new personal best 4:08,81 minutes, she initiate her development for Erfurt. At the European U23 Championships she wants to win a medal.

Toni Mohr - The runner with the ability to fight

[13.05.2005] This man is able to fight. "Only the strongest reach the top", he tells and refers to the uncountable runs he has to do on his own in Cottbus. What can't be cured must be endured is his slogan regarding the pain in the Achilles tendon during his twelve training sessions a week. That drudgery should be worthwhile. Toni Mohr´s target is to win a medal at the European Athletics U23 Championships (14th -17th July) in Erfurt.  more ...
